Yesterday Doug took us to a nearby (and super weird) artists community for a bit of window shopping, people watching and early dinner. We meandered an artists co-op oohing and aaahing the pottery. We found this fabulous hippie clothing store that had at least 20 things I would love to see hanging in my closet. And we ate at Heart of Jerusalem Café, which Doug had been eyeing for months. Again, I love that he plans these kinds of days.
A little street music and a trip to the tea house, which is run by members of a local commune (they are the only ones who work there and yes, those still exist), and we pretty much felt like we had a true artists day experience.
We have a lot of inside jokes from the day. A lot. So fun.
